Macworld Expo 2006

Macworld 2006

Join Delicious Monster in San Francisco for Macworld Expo, January 10-13! We'll be showing off Delicious Library all week at booth #710.

For those of you who will be in the area, but don't have a way in yet, we have an unlimited number of free exhibition passes that we can give away. If you want a free pass (does not include keynote or sessions), write us at freepass@delicious-monster.com. We'll email a free pass priority code to everyone who writes.

If you're looking to go to the keynote or sessions, it's not too late to register online.

If you'll be at the show, don't forget to stop by to see our awesome booth and let us know how you use Delicious Library. See you there!

Anonymous and Weldon, this is Drew from Delicious Monster. We're working night and day on a free update to Delicious Library that will be available this month.

Version 1.6 will be a Universal Application (for Macs with either PowerPC and Intel) and also will work with the new fixed-focus built-in iSights found on the new iMac and the new MacBook Pro.

I am really disappointed that all we have to look forward to is a . release. After spending $40 dollars at the last Macworld on a product with crippled printing and no web export, I feel we should get more. I think it's time to start exploring other options.

Anonymous, this is Drew from Delicious Monster. Although we're releasing 1.6 this month, we're continuing to work on exciting new features in the future. We've already got a great start on what will be an absolutely amazing 2.0 release down the road and we're absolutely committed to new features as Delicious Library continues to grow in 2006.

I think you'll be really happy with a lot of the stuff we have in our labs right now and I can't reiterate enough how hard we're working to deliver awesome new stuff as we move forward into the new year.

We certainly don't want you to be unhappy though, and it sounds like you're frustrated. If you'd like to share your specific suggestions with us, we'd absolutely appreciate it. You can write us at delicious@delicious-monster.com

I've done enough trade shows to know that you guys must be busy. However, I've been trying to purchase your software since Monday, with no success. Your payment system and my credit cards seem to be incompatible, and I'm not getting any response to emails (hope your tech support is faster than this!). Is there anybody out there?

Wow, that didn't work. Well, there's a story in the Seattle PI about Delicious Monster.

It's front page today on the web site.

Question about your booth -- what were the (I'm assuming) USB magstripe readers you were using to take payment? I'm looking for one to integrate into a project I'm working on.

Graham,

They were just generic USB magnetic stripe readers. You can find them fairly cheaply from lots of manufacturers.
