First post. Cool interview.
as a software designer who works for a big company, i can't tell you how i've dreamed of the work environment attributed to delicious monster. for anyone to abandon it for the conformity and tedium of the cube farm is just mind boggling. good luck to mike all the same - if for no other reason then maybe delicious monster has a position to fill ;-)

I don't really know, where else to post this, so I'll just do it here:
Is it possible, that amazon.de and amazon.co.uk changed the way, they store/link their product images within the last few days? Because all the sudden they aren't imported anymore into DL - yet all the other information still is. Also amazon.com still seems to be working fine for me.
In general, if I had to criticize one thing about DL, it would be the lack of maintenance updates: It's nice that you put all your efforts into the 2.0 release, but you could have still fixed stuff like the broken text export on non-english systems along the way.

Michael, this is Drew from Delicious Monster. We're aware of both issues (cover art problems on some international Amazon servers and exporting problems on non-English systems) and we hope to have a free update available very soon to fix both of these (and some other things as well). Idea:
How about a software CD/DVD feature? I have a lot of pictures/data backed up on DVD and it would be neat to have an option to inventory those and have them in my library.
hi these may have been asked before - so appologies fi tehy have -
1. i have a laptop and a desktopm (both personal) can if i buy a single licnec can i run it on both of these for personal use
2. can the ebookcase display be viewed with the item spine only as in a real world bookcase?
