Delicious Library Wins Apple Design Awards

Delicious Monster just returned from an amazing week at WWDC 2005, Apple's worldwide Mac developer conference in San Francisco. It was a great chance to make sure we're solid on new and upcoming Apple technology as well as an opportunity to meet one-on-one with Apple and the engineers behind Mac OS X Tiger.
As many of you most likely know by now, Steve Jobs announced during his keynote that Apple will be transitioning to Intel processors in the next upcoming years. The change was met with applause and support by the developer community and Delicious Monster is 100% behind Apple on this transition. We'll do everything to make sure Delicious Library continues to rock on any Mac, regardless of processor, and we're looking forward to next-generation Macs in the future.
WWDC also is host to the annual Apple Design Awards and this year marked the 10th anniversary of the event. Delicious Library was the star of the evening, winning the prestigious Best Mac OS X User Experience award as well as runner-up in Best Product New to Mac OS X. We're honored to be this year's model application for the Mac.
We're back this week and hard at work focusing to suggestions and feedback we've received. We've had a tremendous response to the new Delicious Library 1.5 and we have a bright future ahead. Keep writing in with suggestions and feedback!

have fun and keep on codin' on the free world
Hey guys. You're website seems to be having issues. I try to access it and it just hangs. Multiple browsers, different locations.
Just wanted to let you know.
Anonymous, this is Drew from Delicious Monster. Sorry for the web issues. We had a server upgrade this morning and we were down for an hour or so while we addressed an incompatibility. Everything's back up and working again now. I apologize for the downtime there.
Congrats on the Apple Design Award, guys. I wasn't a judge this year, but if I had been, DL was a foregone conclusion.

Congratulations on the awards!
Since you want suggestions:
Could we have IMDB and FreeDB/CDDB support in the next version, please!
Great design rocks, but better functionality is essential as well, and I need to keep using competing software without IMDB/CDDB import, as Amazon is far, far, far from being comprehensive.
Thank you!
Congratulations for the award. if it wasn't for the award I never would have found your application.
But please, just sort out the bugs before working on new and improved versions.
Congratualations on the Apple Design Award! I love the program.
On the next update, can you add a way to show items that I am borrowing from someone else and when I need to return them? Its is great that I can keep tabs of items I lend out, but would like to be able to easily keep tabs of the items I am borrowing and to who they belong to. Thanks.
Is there a way to disable Library from accessing the Japanese Amazon?
Since the 1.5 upgrade, all my UK and Australian books return results from the Japanese site - there is very little information and most of it is in Kanji!
It makes scanning barcodes pointless.
Holy stolen UI, batman! Someone at http://www.imediaman.com/ totally stole DL's UI, start to finish! I hate this sue-happy country, but... damn! Unless they have your permission, there has GOT to be a lawsuit over this.
